High Resilience FOAM – EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HR FOAM

HR FOAM is a type of Poly Urethane (PU) Foam with an open cell structure. HR stands for High Resilience, which implies it quickly regains its shape on being under pressure from any weight or on being compressed. It comes in varying densities offering different levels of support.

It is a durable foam and can last very long since it is resistant to wear and tear. In addition to mattresses, it is used in seating spaces.

Benefits of HR FOAM:

  • HR FOAM strikes a fine balance between durability, firmness and comfort.
  • Open cell structure implies it is breathable compared to other foams.

Usage of HR FOAM:

HR Foam can be used both as a support layer as well as a comfort layer.

For heavier individuals, a block of HR FOAM can act as a firm support layer which does not feel hard like a Bonded foam but offers a similar level of firm support.

For Lighter Individuals, a comfort layer or a sandwich layer of HR Foam or a Support layer made with lower density of HR Foam can be a wonderful addition.

HR FOAM can be compressed and roll packed into a box. It quickly regains its shape when opened thereby making it an effective product to transport and use.
